JMP (prounced “jump”) is a software program from JMP (a SAS Insitute subsidiary) to perform simple and complex statistical analysis. It dynamically links statistics with graphics to interactively explore, understand and visualize data. JMP also provides a comprehensive set of statistical tools as well as design of experiments and statistical quality control in a single package. It can work with a variety of data formats, such as Microsoft Excel files, SAS datasets, SPSS datasets, text files and ODBC-compliant databases.
